What is the standard lead time for Dynamo games?
Dynamo standard games have a lead time of 10-12 weeks. Our Rope Courses have a lead time of 20-24 weeks and the lead time on our custom projects vary based on the design. Overall, these lead times are simply a framework to offer your client overall. If a game undergoes revisions or production delays, these times are subject to change.
How much maintenance do Dynamo games require?
Dynamo’s games are designed with sustainability in mind. They are relatively low maintenance and designed to be durable and long-lasting. Each game will have a set of instructions for best practices of maintenance, and Dynamo offers a comprehensive program for game parts to ensure children can get as much play out of each of our games as possible.
Do the Nets have to be maintained? If so, how is maintenance conducted?
The most important factor in proper maintenance is maintaining proper net tension. Net re-tensioning is sometimes required after the first 60-90 days of use (a “settling-in” period) and then need to be checked again at regular intervals, as per the set maintenance schedule set by the purchaser. Depending on the size of your net, weathering and volume of kids playing, re-tensioning will be required at least once in its lifetime. If your net will use rubber or tile surfacing, it is in your benefit to get our unique PIP boxes. These boxes will give you access to the ground points of the net for re-tensioning.
How do Dynamo games fit in with environmental consciousness and sustainability?
At Dynamo, we are very conscious about environmental factors. We follow the dual practices of minimal materials, and maximum durability. Dynamo games use significantly less resources to produce a structure than more standard types of equipment accommodating equal numbers of children. Dynamo games also typically have a longer service life than traditional play equipment; often double the useful life span. So, Dynamo’s playground equipment has a significantly smaller environmental footprint than ‘old school’ playgrounds.
Do Dynamo games meet ADA accessibility standards?
Yes! Dynamo games are designed with all children in mind, promoting the inclusion of children with varying abilities. We also pride ourselves on our ability to work with our clients to customize the equipment, as needed, to adhere to the requirements of their community.
